Rewari is one of the district of Haryana State & was declared District in 1989. It is located south-west of Haryana. Rewari Connecting by NH-8(Delhi-Jaipur Highway), NH-71 (Rewari-Jind) & NH-71B (Rewari-Palwal). The Distance between our capital ( New Delhi) from Rewari is approx 80 KM.

Rewari is a historical Place of Southern Haryana. It is famous for its brass utensils and also known as Brass City. Its famous for many reasons. First of all India’s “First Goshala” Built here. It was an important centre during 1857 revolt. Rao Tularam is known as the Greatest Freedom Fighter. Rewari is also remembered as Asia’s Largest meter Gauge Junction. India’s only Rail Museum is situated here. Rewari is surrounded by Agriculture dominating villages and it’s main source of revenue is agriculture.

Rewari is also famous for four thing (Old Saying) 1. Heer (Ahir), 2 Jau (Barley) , 3 Firace (a Tree) , 4 Khara Pani (Salty Water). Rewari is a city of braves as proportionally a major section of youth is serving in Indian Army. They have sacrified their lives for the sake of Nation. It is hub of Political Leaders Like : Rao Birender Singh (Ex CM Haryana), Col. Ram Singh (Ex Minister in Central Govt), Capt Ajay Singh (Elected many times as M.L.A which is a record, Rao Inderjeet Singh (M.P.) etc.

There are many historical building as Tej Sarovar (bada Talab), Mukti ki Haveli, Hem Chandra Vikrmaditya’s haveli, Rao Tularam park, Rao Tularam Stadium , rejangala Museum etc.

Rewari is fast developing in term of Infrastructure & Industry. Bawal is one of the major Upcoming industrial Town of Haryana. The major industries are Aashai India, Nerolac paints, harley Davidson, Mushashi Auto, NTN, Atlas, YKK India, Caparo Maruti, IJL, Minda etc. Rewari is famous for brass utensils.

Dharuhera Town is also developed as Industries. Hero (2 wheeler) Industry is the Major Industry of this Town. Many other Industries also growing very fast, like, Pashupati, Lumax & many others in Dharuhera.

Rewari is expanding day by day as many Real Estate Agency are flourishing here. The Future of City Rewari is very bright. There are a lots of housing projects situated in the city i.e Shanti Lok, Shri Shyam Society, SRS, Guru Tech , Manchanda & Manchanda, BMG Elegant City etc.  

रेवाड़ी हरियाणा राज्य का एक जिला है और इसे 1989 में जिला घोषित किया गया था। यह हरियाणा के दक्षिण-पश्चिम में स्थित है। रेवाड़ी NH-8 (दिल्ली-जयपुर हाईवे), NH-71 (रेवाड़ी-जींद) और NH-71B (रेवाड़ी-पलवल) से जुड़ रहा है। रेवाड़ी से हमारी राजधानी (नई दिल्ली) के बीच की दूरी लगभग 80 किलोमीटर है।

रेवाड़ी दक्षिणी हरियाणा का एक ऐतिहासिक स्थान है। यह अपने पीतल के बर्तनों के लिए प्रसिद्ध है और इसे ब्रास सिटी के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। यह कई कारणों से प्रसिद्ध है। सबसे पहले भारत की "पहली गोशाला" यहाँ बनी। 1857 के विद्रोह के दौरान यह एक महत्वपूर्ण केंद्र था। राव तुलाराम को महानतम स्वतंत्रता सेनानी के रूप में जाना जाता है। रेवाड़ी को एशिया के सबसे बड़े मीटर गेज जंक्शन के रूप में भी याद किया जाता है। भारत का एकमात्र रेल संग्रहालय यहाँ स्थित है। रेवाड़ी कृषि बहुल गांवों से घिरा हुआ है और इसका राजस्व का मुख्य स्रोत कृषि है।

रेवाड़ी चार चीजों (पुरानी कहावत) के लिए भी प्रसिद्ध है 1. हीर (अहीर), 2 जौ (जौ), 3 फिरसे (एक पेड़), 4 खारा पानी (नमकीन पानी)। रेवाड़ी वीरों का शहर है क्योंकि भारतीय सेना में युवाओं का एक बड़ा वर्ग सेवारत है। उन्होंने राष्ट्र के लिए अपने प्राणों की आहुति दी है। यह राजनीतिक नेताओं का केंद्र है जैसे: राव बीरेंद्र सिंह (पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री हरियाणा), कर्नल राम सिंह (केंद्र सरकार में पूर्व मंत्री), कैप्टन अजय सिंह (M.L.A के रूप में कई बार चुने गए जो एक रिकॉर्ड है, राव इंद्रजीत सिंह (M.P.) आदि। .
तेज सरोवर (बड़ा तालाब), मुक्ति की हवेली, हेम चंद्र विक्रमादित्य की हवेली, राव तुलाराम पार्क, राव तुलाराम स्टेडियम, रेजंगला संग्रहालय आदि कई ऐतिहासिक इमारतें हैं।

इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर और उद्योग के मामले में रेवाड़ी तेजी से विकास कर रहा है। बावल हरियाणा के प्रमुख आगामी औद्योगिक शहर में से एक है। प्रमुख उद्योग हैं आशाई इंडिया, नेरोलैक पेंट्स, हार्ले डेविडसन, मुशाशी ऑटो, एनटीएन, एटलस, वाईकेके इंडिया, कपारो मारुति, आईजेएल, मिंडा आदि। रेवाड़ी पीतल के बर्तनों के लिए प्रसिद्ध है।

धरुहेड़ा टाउन को उद्योग के रूप में भी विकसित किया गया है। हीरो (दोपहिया) उद्योग इस कस्बे का प्रमुख उद्योग है। कई अन्य उद्योग भी बहुत तेजी से बढ़ रहे हैं, जैसे पशुपति, लुमैक्स और धारूहेड़ा में कई अन्य।
रेवाड़ी का दिन-ब-दिन विस्तार हो रहा है क्योंकि यहां कई रियल एस्टेट एजेंसी फल-फूल रही हैं। शहर रेवाड़ी का भविष्य बहुत उज्ज्वल है। शहर में कई आवास परियोजनाएं स्थित हैं जैसे शांति लोक, श्री श्याम सोसाइटी, एसआरएस, गुरु टेक, मनचंदा और मनचंदा, बीएमजी एलिगेंट सिटी आदि।
